Bridge24 News: Officially Recognized by Asana and Trello

We are excited to announce that after a lengthy submission process that tests the quality and value to their users, Bridge24 has been accepted in the App integration directories for both Asana and Trello.

Asana App Integration

Access the Asana integration page detailing the connection with Bridge24

The process included a formal submission detailing the integration and the positioning of the application. In addition, we had communication to provide further information requested and answer any questions. Bridge24 was tested internally to see if it meets their quality standards and as well confirm the value of its usage for their users.

Bridge24 was classified in the Reporting category since one of the main uses is to dynamically display and filter Asana task information, although it does much more than that, including updating task information, and exporting any view.

Trello App Integration

The process to get the Bridge24 app in the Integrations area of Trello followed the same rigorous pattern as for Asana. The Trello Integrations […]

New Interface for Bridge24 Released – Improving Usage

A refreshing redesign of the Bridge24 interface is now available. We have worked hard to improve the look and feel as well as increase load speeds and make more fluid. Simply login to the app to start using!

Bridge24 Interface - Light Theme

Design

A flatter design was chosen to bring it more up to date, and to make it clearer and lighter to view and navigate the interface. A number of settings have been re-positioned and modified slightly to be used more efficiently. Standardizing the design allows us to more quickly integrate new features moving forward.

Not only has the design improved, but general performance has increased as well. The grid is now smoother to scroll as well as transitions between views are much more fluid.

Enhancements Available

  • On loading information or refreshing, progress bars were greatly improved to provide better knowledge of the state of the application.

Asana and Trello Custom Fields Supported Through Bridge24

New Feature: Custom Fields support for Trello and AsanaWe are pleased to announce the support of custom fields for both Asana and Trello within Bridge24. Asana and Trello released their custom field features a few months ago and support for them instantly became the most requested feature from our users. We decided to implement this feature as fast as we could since we found that supporting custom fields would add amazing possibilities for reporting and exporting.

What are custom fields?

Custom fields provide a way for users to tailor their experience by adding more project fields that can qualify tasks or cards. This opens up many possibilities for workflows. For example, you can now create and use a field containing an accounting ID code, or a drop-down list of values to choose from. This flexibility opens Asana and Trello up to be much more than simple task management solutions.

Asana

  • Available custom field types:  number, text, drop-down list
  • Allows an infinite number of custom fields and […]

Export to Excel or CSV of Multi-Level Subtasks for Asana Now Supported through Bridge24

In this recent iteration of the export functionality, the ability to export multiple levels of Asana subtasks to Excel and CSV is now possible. This addition was based on user feedback that we received. Asana’s subtasks are regular tasks that can be nested up to 5 levels deep. There are many use cases that we have learned about and have offered 2 subtask export options for users based on these; full task list (including subtasks in the main task list), and separate sheet per level of subtask (Excel only). If you are using custom fields within Asana, those are treated like any other field and will also be exported.

To access from the Grid, Kanban or Calendar view, click on the Export icon on the top right:
bridge24_export1

Users now have access to the following options for subtasks in the Subtasks Preference dropdown:
bridge24_export_options2

  • Do not export – Does not export subtasks
  • Export in one sheet – All levels of subtasks will be […]

Elevate Your Company’s Culture with Asana

asana-new-logo

Company culture is changing drastically. “Casual Fridays” are now a week long, and companies like Google are pushing the limits of employee benefits by offering perks like on-site doctor visits.

As an entrepreneur and digital agency owner, hiring the best and retaining top talent is fundamentally based on the culture our company provides. By creating a culture that blends work and non-work life, I’ve seen the success in the autonomy and leadership in our team that builds a solid foundation for growth.

Work-From-Home Days:

While not for every business, work-from-home days are becoming increasingly popular. I’ve seen companies leverage this perk to cut down on parking costs in metropolitan areas for their employees and create more room in already full office space. With account management software like Asana to internal communication software like Slack, collaboration can expand outside the office space.

Transforming Education through Internet of Things with Asana

asana-new-logo

Technology is more a catalyst than an influencer in education today.  It is increasingly changing the education landscape.  Technology consultant, Gartner projects that this year will see 6.4 billion connected things in use world over, up 30 per cent from the last. Look further at the same number in 2020 and the forecast suggests it will be close to 21 billion.

In a Forrester Research study, over 80 percent of participants said the Internet of Things (IoT) will be the most strategic technology initiative for their organization in a decade.

Managing projects better

In the workplace, elearning has become a norm as it has been proven to reduce costs, make learning faster yet more effective and boost productivity. Choosing a project management tool is one of the more important decisions an elearning team makes. One of the governing factors in making this choice is the tool’s flexibility while remaining fully functional. While there are several tools in the market, there are some that provide standout features. Google Docs pairs with any […]

Improve Efficiency and find your Business’s Productivity sweet spot with Asana

asana-new-logo

As an entrepreneur and business owner for the last 18 years, I remember well what the start-up phase is like; you wear every hat under the sun – from receptionist to doorbell-ringing salesman to production manager to accountant (if you call personally sending out homemade invoices every month being an accountant!).

Fast forward many years down the line, and I now have a large team spread across the country and my challenges are immensely different to when we were in start-up phase. For one, my team works remotely, and I need to know whether they are productive or not. The challenge of monitoring productivity while still running and growing the business, all the while constantly avoiding the trap of slipping into micro-management, has lead me to these findings.

Get the right software to help your team track orders, projects, inventory and invoices. Try and avoid multiple data capturing points as this can increase errors and be an unnecessary burden on your admin staff. Look for a single system that […]
